Ryan Robicheau’s journey as a business owner began long before Blacktop Traffic Service, rooted in the hard work of his grandfather’s mink ranch and a lifelong entrepreneurial spirit. After gaining years of hands-on experience in traffic control and management, Ryan officially launched Blacktop in 2022. Built on a foundation of family support and local collaboration with organizations like CBDC Digby-Clare and Nova Scotia Works, the company has rapidly grown from a solo vision into a dedicated team of professionals serving all of Nova Scotia.
Beyond the road, Ryan’s commitment to safety and community is personal. As a Captain and Medical First Responder with the Plympton and Gilbert’s Cove Fire Department, he brings a high-stakes level of discipline and care to everything he does. Blacktop is more than just a traffic service; it is a family-supported business driven by a mission to provide quality jobs and essential safety services. Every project is guided by the same hands-on work ethic and community-first mindset that have defined Ryan’s career from the very beginning.
